Tour Itinerary

DAY 1

Arrival Leh:
Arrival at Leh Airport. Upon arrival you will met by our representative and transfer to Hotel for Check in. Complete day for rest and leisure to acclimatize followed by Welcome tea or Coffee at the Hotel. Evening Visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 2

Leh local sightseeing.
After an early breakfast, proceed for a full day Indus valley Monastery tour includes visit to visit Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery & Stok Palace Museum. Post lunch drive to visit Hall of Fame, Kali Mata (Temple of Guardians in Spituk monastery), Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Point and Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar rivers). Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.

DAY 3

Leh - Nubra Valley Via Khardung La 18,390 Ft. (120 Kms / 4 - 5 Hrs)
Post breakfast we drive to Nubra Valley which passes over Khardung La (The Highest Motorable Road in The World) at 5,602 Mtrs. / 18,390 Ft, around 39 km from Leh. After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit for dinner and overnight stay in a camp.

DAY 4

Nubra Valley - Leh (120 Kms / 4 - 5 Hrs)
In the morning visit / explore Deskit , Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive back to Leh, reaching in the late afternoon / evening. On arrival at Leh you will check in to your Hotel. In the evening you can stroll around the market place for some last minute souvenir shopping.

DAY 5

Leh Pangong Lake - 14,000 Ft. (140 kms / 4 - 5 Hrs One Way)
Post breakfast we drive to Pangong Lake through, Changla pass, 5486 Mtrs. Arrive the Pangong Lake, known for changing its color, with the changing position of the sun. Placed at an altitude of 4250 m, it is one of the largest brackish lakes in Asia. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable. After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6

Pangong-Hemis / Thiksey-Leh (165 kms.)
It is suggested that you leave your beds early today as the views at this time by the lake are simply mesmerizing. Capture the natural scenery in your cameras for lifetime. The rays of the sun make the snow-clad peaks shine like diamonds.. After breakfast, leave Pangong / Tangtse and retrace the Leh route across Chang-la. Upon reaching Karu, drive across the Indus and visit the famous Hemis Monastery, biggest monastery of Ladakh. Later drive on to Leh, enroute visiting the picturesque Thiksey monastery. Arrive hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight.

DAY 7

Depart Leh (Fly Out)
Transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination
