• Arrive at Dimapur Airport / Railway Station, where our representative will welcome you. • Begin your drive to Kohima, the capital of Nagaland, passing through lush green hills, winding roads, and charming tribal villages. • On arrival, check in to your hotel and refresh. • In the evening, take a leisure stroll around Kohima town, explore the bustling local bazaar, and witness the vibrant lifestyle of Naga people. You’ll find local products, handloom, and organic produce unique to the region. • Dinner at the hotel. • Overnight stay in Kohima.
• After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Kohima. • Kohima War Cemetery – A moving memorial dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives during World War II in the Battle of Kohima. • Inner Line Permit (ILP) is mandatory for all Indian tourists visiting Nagaland. Ensure it is obtained before travel.
• Weather in Kohima and Dzukou Valley can be unpredictable – carry warm clothing and rain protection.
• Dzukou Valley trek involves steep climbs; not recommended for guests with serious health conditions or mobility issues.
• Travel time in Nagaland may be longer than expected due to hilly roads – start journeys early in the day.
• Limited luxury options are available; accommodation will be neat and comfortable but may be basic in some areas.
• Respect the local culture and traditions – avoid loud behavior and dress modestly in villages.
• Avoid single-use plastics and maintain cleanliness, especially in eco-sensitive areas like Dzukou Valley and Khonoma Village.
• Carry sufficient cash for local shopping, as digital payments may not always work.
• Smoking and alcohol consumption in public places is discouraged, particularly in traditional villages.

• Footwear: Good quality trekking shoes with strong grip are essential for the valley trek.

• Connectivity: Mobile network may be weak in certain areas, especially during treks and village visits.
• Health & Safety: Carry personal medicines, first-aid kit, and stay hydrated. Avoid littering – Dzukou Valley is an eco-sensitive zone.
• Food & Water: Local cuisine is available in Kohima, but during treks, carry packed food. Stick to bottled/filtered water.
• Cash: ATMs are limited outside Kohima/Dimapur. Keep sufficient cash for village visits and local markets.
